Plan your September getaway to Lake Garda now!

Like most places around Europe, June, July and August are popular times to visit Lake Garda, but if you are lucky enough to wait until September onward to go your holiday there are some real benefits for you!

Firstly, school term starts again meaning it is less busy for accommodation availability and flights (with that drop in people travelling comes a drop in the prices too!) The towns are a little quieter and less traffic on the roads meaning you can explore much easier than in the summer months.

Secondly the weather can be great!  Last year we saw temperatures of 17 – 32 degrees through out September (and only a few days of rain!) That means there is still the opportunity for plenty of sunbathing and outdoor activities, sailing or windsurfing on the lake, hiking in the stunning surrounding countryside or exploring the beautiful Italian towns. Even in October the weather is still great for a holiday on the lake with some autumn Italian sunshine. The sunny yet cooler days give you the perfect opportunity to visit the near by cities of Verona, Milan and Venice in a much quieter time of the year, and you still get to enjoy some stunning sunrises and sunsets over the Lake.
